Meal Planning Tips to Help You Save Time and Money

Welcome back to The Groves at Milford Blog! Today, we’re sharing a list of ideas to make meal planning easier for everyone in our apartment community. We hope you enjoy a healthier month here in Massachusetts!
Use a Downloadable PDF
If you like to write things down, try using a downloadable meal planner. Check out these guides from Daily Burn. They have a few different options to help you out. They have more detailed charts such as a family guide for dividing up meal responsibilities. They also have more simplistic guides such as a monthly meal plan chart. Try them out and see what works for you.
Find an App
Many apps exist that make meal planning much easier for you. They have a place for your shopping list and a place to put down ingredients and other information. Try out these apps that LifeHacker suggests to get started.
Be Reasonable
When meal planning, some of us may be more ambitious than we have time or energy to actually implement. Determine how much time you actually have and plan meals that work according to that time limit. Maybe you work during the day and preparing a lunch needs to be a quick process. Plan for lunches that can be assembled quickly otherwise make your lunches at the beginning of the week as part of your meal prep.
Always Have a Shopping List
After you’ve decided what meals to make for that week or month, make your shopping list. This is an important step when meal planning. Make sure to always have that list with you when you go out to shop. Shop the ads and keep a well-maintained pantry (which will save you money in the long run and provide the basics to create a meal anytime). Doing these things will be likely to create a positive experience and can help your pocketbook too.
